This folder is a horror movie soundtrack I composed in 1989.
The film was "Metal Noir" by Eldritchfilms.
As far as I know, it was never released, at least I never got a copy.
I was sent a fully edited final cut, wrote (or found) themes for every character, and composed it all to sync up with the video. They wanted a rock or heavy metal type of sound. It became a garage band and synth and f/x party. A raucous romp: moody, loud, but playfully weird.
Main rock theme by: Stefan Jackson drums, Glen Johnson guitar, John Valdez bass, used with permission. Since some of the themes were from my garage band archives, a few synth lines by Jon Virtes appear, and an occasional note by past visitors to our jam sessions. But mostly it was me brainstorming in a little room full of instruments over a little 4-track TASCAM studio, flipping tapes, always playing the parts or finding the sounds I needed to complete the soundscape. Check the notes fields on the mp3 files for detailed credits and teaser info.
I found my master audio tapes a few years ago, finally got them all digitized & remastered in 2013. So here it is, free for anyone to listen to. If you'd like to use any of these tracks in your own productions, just contact me. I do music pretty much just for the fun of it, and work at reasonable rates. I could even be persuaded to get back in a studio and go on another brainstorm. ;-)
Oops, would help if I include a link to a CONTACT form...
